Wendy Smith left the corporate rat race in 2018 to write full time. After a lifetime of writing stories in her head, she first published in 2013 under the pen name Ariadne Wayne. Three years later, wanting to see her own name on a book, she started the Copper Creek series and published it as Wendy Smith.

Unafraid to try new things, she went a little dark with the Copper Creek series that featured a girl trapped in a basement, five brothers finding love, and a cult on a hill controlled by a sociopath. She tries to insert a little humour in her books, and is a lover of all things angsty.
